The 12th National Academic Conference on Prestressed Structure Theory and Engineering Application

On September 3, 2022 “China Prestressed Technology Summit Forum and the 12th National Prestressed Structure Theory and Engineering Application Academic Conference” was successfully held in Beijing Friendship Hotel. The forum is hosted by the Department of Civil, Hydraulic and Architectural Engineering, Chinese Academy of Engineering. A total of 27 academicians attended the forum, nearly 300 domestic and foreign experts and scholars participated in the forum, and more than 10,000 people participated in the online interaction.

Prestress technology is an important technology to improve the performance of civil engineering, which is widely used in various fields of civil engineering. At present, China has built nearly 8 billion square meters of prestressed buildings, 960,000 prestressed highway Bridges and 38,000 kilometers of prestressed railway Bridges. China's national sustainable development and the major strategy of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" will further promote the application of prestressing technology in various fields of civil engineering.

BBS invited 15 of the domestic and foreign well-known experts and scholars made great academic report, from the basic theory of the prestressed technology, service security, design and evaluation, reconstruction and reinforcement technology research and application of new materials, new system aspects summarizes the research achievements in the field of prestressed technology, proposed the next prestressed technology development ideas.

The forum conducted in-depth discussion on the research status and development direction of prestressing technology.
