How To Operate The Prestressed Jack Safely?

Prestressed Hollow Hydraulic Jack is a special jack used for bridge, railway and other projects. There are strict operation specifications when using it. Now we will introduce the use method of prestressed jack.

1. Before use, strictly check the parameters of the jack, and do not use the jack under overpressure or overload.

2. Before tensioning, check the oil volume of the oil pump, and make the jack run several times without stroke to drain the air in the jack and oil pipe.

3. When installing the anchorage and jack, the action line of the tensioning force and the center line of the duct shall coincide with each other during the tensioning process for the linear prestressed reinforcement.

4. For curved prestressed reinforcement, the action line of tensioning force shall coincide with the tangent line of the center point at the end of the duct. During tensioning, the prestressed reinforcement passes through the working anchor, limit plate and jack. The tensioning sequence of prestressed reinforcement shall meet the design requirements.

5. When using a new jack or a jack that has not been used for a long time, as there is more air in the oil cylinder, the jack shall be unloaded and vibrated due to the influence of air before use.

6. The return oil pressure of the jack shall not exceed 10 MPa.
